The idea for Tôm Tí Tách was born from a deep appreciation for the rich agricultural heritage of Tây Ninh and the untapped potential of its specialty products. I saw an opportunity to bring high-quality Tây Ninh shrimp salt and industrial seafood machinery to both domestic and international markets, bridging traditional craftsmanship with modern distribution.
Scaling Tây Ninh Shrimp Salt: A Market Success
In the first 12 months of operation, Tôm Tí Tách successfully sold over 10,000 jars of Tây Ninh shrimp salt, generating more than $20,000 in profit. We achieved this through strategic online marketing, leveraging Shopee as a key sales platform, where our product gained significant traction. Our Facebook page quickly amassed 11,000+ likes, strengthening our brand presence and customer trust.
Our customers ranged from individual consumers to larger food distributors looking for high-quality Vietnamese spices. By positioning our shrimp salt as a premium, traditionally crafted product, we carved out a niche in a competitive market. Partnerships with local supermarkets and specialty food stores further solidified our standing in the domestic market.







Introducing Industrial Innovation: Shrimp Peeling Machines
Recognizing the challenges faced by shrimp farmers in improving processing efficiency, we expanded into industrial machinery. Tôm Tí Tách sold five Automatic Shrimp Peeling Machines to two shrimp farming cooperatives, generating $8,600 in revenue with a $1,700 profit. These machines significantly improved productivity for our clients, reducing labor costs and increasing output efficiency.
Our key customers included Hải Nam Shrimp Cooperative and Bình An Seafood Processing, both of whom reported enhanced processing speeds and reduced operational costs after implementing our technology. The success of these sales validated the growing demand for modernized solutions in Vietnam’s seafood industry.
Challenges and Future Growth
Despite early successes, challenges such as fluctuating production costs and navigating export logistics required continuous adaptation. However, with strong customer feedback and increasing interest from international buyers, we are now working on scaling operations, expanding into more online marketplaces, and exploring overseas distribution.
Tôm Tí Tách stands as a testament to the power of combining tradition with innovation. As we move forward, we aim to enhance Vietnam’s reputation in agricultural specialties and industrial seafood processing on a global scale.
